  • How do guest follow-ups / RSVP reminders work?

    • Because Partiful texts your guests, we know when someone hasn't responded to the invite. This means we can text them follow-up "nudges" reminding them to RSVP.
    • Partiful intelligently sends follow-up texts based on when you sent the invite and when the event's happening. For example, if your event is in 2 weeks, we'll follow up after 1 week with guests who haven't responded. If they still don't respond, we'll send another follow-up 3 days before the event starts.
    • We also send follow-ups to guests who respond "Maybe" to get a final "Yes" or "No."

    • You can also send a message to any group of guests using the "Message Guests" button on the event page.

  • What about event reminders for attendees?

    • For guests who RSVP "Yes", we text them reminders about the event the day before and day of the party.
    • Want to see it in action? Create an event and add yourself as a guest!
    • You can also use the "Message Guests" feature to send reminders to attending guests.

  • When will I get RSVP updates?

    • We'll send you a summary text each day you get new RSVP responses. If you don't have any new responses, we won't send anything.

  • How do I plan a virtual event?

    • To make a virtual event, just add your video chat link instead of a location, and we'll text this information to guests before the event.

  • Can I re-invite previous guests?

    • Partiful saves guest numbers: you only have to enter them once, and you can reuse them for any future event. (We're working on a way to import contacts directly from your phone. Stay tuned!)

  • What do you use phone numbers for?

    • We only use phone numbers (yours or your guests') for the purposes of your party. We don't market to your guests or sell any data. You can find our privacy policy here.

  • Who can see my event?

    • Your event page is private by default and inaccessible to anyone else.

  • How can I contact Partiful after I've created an event?

    • If you have questions or need anything, just text us back at the number we're texting you from. Someone from our team will respond directly.

  • What can guests text Partiful?

    • Guests can also text us anything. You can ask them to send notes, photos, links, etc., and we'll collect them and share with you.

  • How can I see guest responses to my messages?

    • In the "Sent messages" section on the page for your event, click on the message to view responses to your message.
